Dr. Margo Rice is the founder and principal of Elemental Counseling, an outpatient private practice in Atlanta, GA. She is a board-certified, licensed professional counselor, clinical supervisor, and counselor educator who specializes in psychotherapy for adults, couples, and families. Over the last 15 years, she has provided counseling services to those who are experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and career concerns. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and positive psychology in treating symptoms of anxiety and depression, while tailoring therapy to each client's individual needs and goals.

Dr. Rice is an Emory University alumna, and completed her graduate training at Mercer University with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Her doctoral research examined family and sibling experiences with psychiatric disorders and disabilities.
Beyond direct client care, Dr. Rice provides expert clinical supervision and strategic consultation to mental health professionals and organizations. She leads supervision and professional consultation groups for clinicians and counselors in training, and serves as an adjunct professor for graduate programs in clinical mental health, rehabilitation, and school counseling. Her research interests include neuroscience-based strategies in psychotherapy, positive psychology interventions, and enhancing occupational health - areas that directly inform how she works with both clients and the professionals she supervises.
