Dr. Rice is a board certified and licensed professional counselor who specializes in psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and families. Her private practice in Atlanta, GA provides counseling services to those who are experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and career concerns. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and positive psychology in treating symptoms of anxiety and depression, while tailoring therapy to each client's individual needs and goals.

Dr. Rice is an Emory University alum, and completed her graduate training at Mercer University with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Her dissertation research evaluated family and sibling experiences with psychiatric disorders and disabilities. In addition to her counseling work, Dr. Rice leads clinical supervision and professional consultation groups for mental health providers. She has served as an adjunct professor for graduate programs in clinical mental health, rehabilitation and school counseling. Her research interests include the neuroscience-based strategies in psychotherapy, interventions in positive psychology, and enhancing occupational health.
